Anodizing

Anodizing provides a satin-matte and decorative surface that is highly resistant to corrosion and mechanical wear. Profiles can be anodized in various colors, offering many possibilities to meet aesthetic requirements and usage areas.

Anodizing
In the anodizing process, the natural oxide layer on the profile's surface is increased. The layer thickness is chosen in the range of 5 – 25 microns, depending on the usage area. Untreated aluminium will gradually become grey and dull, while an anodized surface will retain its gloss and beautiful appearance for years.

Different colouring methods allow anodized profiles to have broad applications, but consideration must be given to whether the profiles will be used indoors or outdoors when choosing the type of process. This relates to differences in UV resistance. Our sales department will provide the right advice here.

In summary, by choosing anodizing, you get a profile with good corrosion properties, resistance to mechanical wear, an electrically insulating surface, and, most importantly, an aesthetically pleasing finish.
